How we are funded

Ridgeway handihelp is run as a a ‘social enterprise’ business. We earn money from contracts with business customers which helps subsidise work we do for individual customers, who can’t always afford to pay for small repairs and adaptations to their homes.

For example, we’re approved contractors for local authorities, do minor adaptations for social landlords and have a contract with Mediquip to install their products.

We also have a contract with Wiltshire Council to provide a hospital discharge caseworker to help people in the county return home from hospital as quickly as possible, by making sure they have everything they need in place at home.

Handihelp has been awarded a quality mark for its service standards. The quality mark is awarded by Foundations, the national body that monitors the way home improvement agencies provide services.
