Ridgeway Care has been caring for 27-year-old Russell Orwin every day of the year for more than eight years.
Russell has muscular dystrophy and needs help with every day tasks, such as washing and dressing.
As his main carer, his mother Margaret used to see to all his care needs but was unable to lift him after an injury.
That’s when Ridgeway Care stepped in. Russell’s carers visit every evening for an hour to help him bathe and get ready for bed.
