How we are funded

Ridgeway Care & Repair gets its funding from local authorities and primary care trusts (our commissioners) to provide a home repairs and adaptations service for older and disabled people. This money includes the fees we earn, if we'd charge customers for our work.

The work we do helps local authorities meeet their targets to provide homes that:

  • meet the Governments decent homes standard

  • are safe to live in with no risk of falling or tripping

  • are suitable to live in and therefore speed up hospital discharge.

Our commissioners monitor the performance of Ridgeway Care & Repair both for its quality of work and the amount of work we do.  We are also judged under the Government's Supporting People quality assessment framework. This gives customers reassurance that Ridgeway Care & Repair’s work meets high standards.

Ridgeway Care & Repair has been awarded a quality mark for its service standards. The quality mark is awarded by Foundations, the national body that monitors the way home improvement agencies provide services.
