Ridgeway Care & Repair provides advice and practical help with home adaptations, improvements and repairs. This helps older, vulnerable or disabled people to remain living in their own home in comfort and safety.
Our technical officers and caseworkers will help you from start to finish. They'll work out what you need, get quotes from reliable contractors and oversee the project to make sure the work is done well and that you’re happy with it.
During our first visit, we’ll do a basic home safety check and recommend safety improvements or other minor work. We'll also check you're getting all the benefits you're entitled to.
Working with others to help you
We work with lost of other organisations to help support your independence and improve your quality of life. This includes local authorities, occupational therapists, charities and voluntary organisations, such as Age Concern, Warm Front Scheme and The Pension Service
Funding to help you
All our advice and information is free, although we will charge a fee for any technical work we do. We'll help you find ways to pay for the work, including local authority grants, loans and charitable funding. .
