Housing benefit
If you get housing benefit, you can ask your council to pay it to us. If your housing benefit only pays part of your rent, you’ll need to pay the rest using one of the ways above.
Help with rent arrears
If your rent payment is more than seven days late, we'll send you an invoice for the amount you owe. If you're struggling to pay your rent, let us know as soon as possible. You might lose your home, if you don't keep up your payments. But, we can help you manage your rent arrears before they get out of control.
