As a tenant, you've rights and responsibilities and so do we, as a landlord.
Ask what you think if we want to change your tenancy agreement
Once a year, charge more or less rent and service charges using government guidelines as long as we give four weeks notice
Enter your home to do inspections or repairs.
Pay your rent on time
Give us four weeks notice and leave your home and garden in a reasonable condition when you move out.
Stay in your home as long as you want, as long as you don't breach your tenancy agreement
Take over the tenancy, if your spouse dies, as long as you are already living in the home. If you're a joint tenant, the tenancy will automatically pass to you
Take over the tenancy, if your long term partner, civil partner or close family member dies, as long as you've been living with them for at least 12 months before the death
Have certain urgent repairs done within a certain time
Swap your home with another tenant from a housing association or council*
Make home improvements with our permission in writing:
Take in lodgers with our permission in writing*
Buy the home you rent, if you meet certain conditions
Appeal against any decisions we make.
*This does not apply to a tenant with an assured shorthold tenancy
